The American Physical Society has awarded LUXIM Co-Founder Chandrashekhar J. Joshi the prestigious 2006 James Clerk Maxwell Prize for Plasma Physics.  This prize is awarded annually for outstanding contributions to the science of ionized gasses of natural or laboratory origin.  More info here.
