LUXIM - Light Emitting Plasma
PEMCO Announcement

January 6, 2009

PEMCO LIGHTING PRODUCTS has recently completed all tooling development for it’s CORONADO fixture that has the new LiFi® Plasma lamp system fully adapted for superior lighting. This fixture is part of the company’s distinctive Vintage collection, fashioned to emulate the original street lights in America during the 1930’s & 40’s. This new system was first introduced at the IESNA Conference in Denver in 2008 and again in Philadelphia in 2009 with most of the finishing touches. Final photometric testing is scheduled in early 2010 which will include IES types III, IV & V. With the new LiFi plasma system, enormous efficiencies in power consumption and superior lumens per watt output have been achieved, with very high color rendering.

PEMCO has also adapted this light engine to its popular Sentinel glass acorn fixture which is in the final stages of development and testing. With the new LIFI lamp systems that produce 22,000+ lumens, additional fixtures will be outfitted with this revolutionary and efficient system.
