Luxim Newsletter - 2010 Q1
It's only January, but already more and more fixture innovators are lining up to "experience the brilliance", not to mention the efficiency benefits of Luxim's Light Emitting Plasma™ (LEP). We're not surprised. Because it wasn't just our long-life bulb that stood out at last year's lighting shows, it was the inventive fixtures powered by our technology that captured the prestigious awards. And that made our year.
Here are some of the companies that blended invention with imagination to create a new generation of award-winning LEP-powered light fixtures:
Robe Lighting wins PLASA and SIEL awards.
Robe Lighting's new Robin 300 Plasma Spot fixture won a coveted Trophees 2009 Siel Satis Award (Entertainment Category) which was presented in Paris. This follows an Innovation Award win at the PLASA show in London. 60+ products were nominated and evaluated by a panel of independent judges; Robe was one of eight award winners.
Ocean Thin Films scores wins at LIGHTFAIR and LDI
At Lightfair, Ocean Thin Films' SeaChanger Nemo fixture captured the prestigious Innovation Award at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City. Later in the year, at LDI, in Orlando, the SeaChanger Nemo snagged the Best Debuting Product Award.
