Tony McGettigan

Tony McGettigan Mr. McGettigan has over 15 years experience in consumer electronics holding leadership positions in manufacturing, product development, business development and business unit management.

Mr. McGettigan spent 7 years managing the projection display component business at Optical Coating Laboratory Inc. and JDS Uniphase. In addition, he is a prominent figure in the projection display industry and is a recognized expert in both the technology and commercial aspects of the sector. Prior to working in projection display, Tony held various management positions in the inkjet printing business at Hewlett-Packard where he drove the extension of their technology from desktop printing to digital photography.

Mr. McGettigan received his MSME and MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he graduated with full fellowship. He received his BSME (Summa Cum Laude) from University College Dublin.

Gareth C. C. Chang

Mr Gareth C. C. Chang is Chairman of Luma Investments Limited and Chairman of JK Lighting. He has more than 35 years of experience as a senior corporate executive, advisor, and Board member. He is Chairman of Towona Media, the largest mobile TV network in China. Formerly, Gareth was Chairman and CEO of Star TV and Executive Director of the Board of Directors of News Corporation. He also served Jas President of DirectTV International and Executive Chairman of Hughes-JVC Light Projector Company in the US.

Gareth has served as a Board member at Apple Computer, Palm Inc., Agile Software, SRS Labs as well as an Advisory Board member of Nike, Inc. He is currently serving on the board of directors of Neustar, Inc. and comScore, Inc.

Mr Chang was named as one of the 125 Thinkers of the World by Fortune Magazine.

He is also a Visiting Professor of Tsinghua University in Beijing, a Professor at the Beijing Institute of Aerospace and Astronautics and Adjunct Professor at the Communication of China.

Mr Chang holds a Doctor of Science (Honorary), a B.A. in Mathematics/Physics from California State University and an M.B.A. from Pepperdine University.

James Gosart

Mr James Gosart is Chief Executive Officer of Luma Investments Limited and JK Lighting. He has more than 34 years of experience at GE’s Lighting and Industrial Systems. Mr Gosart is a seasoned GE-trained executive with proven results at accelerating growth and organisation transformation. In his tenure as President & CEO of GE Lighting Asia Pacific, he led the company to achieve record sales and a doubling of operating profits while executing major organisational change.

Mr Gosart also served previously as China CEO for GE Consumer & Industrial and held other positions in sales, marketing and product management. He has managed several Asia Pacific based joint venture companies and spent 18 years in Hong Kong, Shanghai and Singapore.

Mr Gosart holds a BS in Engineering from Cornell University.

Ajit Bhusan

Mr Ajit Bhusan is a board member of Luma Investments Limited and also leads CVCI Private Equity’s business in Greater China/Asia Pacific and has been with CVCI Private Equity since 2001. Ajit also focuses on investments in IT and the IT-enabled industry and on overall portfolio management. As a member of CVCI, Ajit has led and executed investments in India, China, Israel and the US and has over 25 years experience in Emerging Markets. Prior to 2001, Ajit worked on strategy and business development for Citibank in CEEMEA. Previously he was responsible for developing the Cash Management business for Citibank in Poland. He has also worked in India. Ajit joined Citibank in 1987. Ajit has a B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering (with specialization in Computer Science) from Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi and an M.B.A. degree from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad.

Wai San Loke

Loke Wai San Mr Wai San Loke is a Founder and Managing Director of Novo Tellus Capital Partners. He was previously a Managing Director with Baring Private Equity Asia where he was head of Baring’s US office in Silicon Valley and most recently co-head for South East Asia. He currently serves as Chairman of AEM Holdings, a semiconductor equipment company listed on the Singapore Stock Exchange, and on several private company boards including Luma Investments (Singapore), Accellion Inc (Palo Alto), and Amsino International (Shanghai). Wai San has over 18 years of private equity, venture capital and strategic consulting experience, and has led investments in Clean Technology, Cloud Based Services, Storage Networking, Firewall Appliances, Semiconductor Assembly & Test Services, IT Services and Healthcare.

Wai San started his career in R&D as an RF engineer in Motorola and holds an MBA from the University of Chicago and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Lehigh University. He was the former Chairman and President of the Singapore American Business Association.

Tan Shao Ming

Mr Tan Shao Ming is a board member of Luma Investments Limited and a Director of CVCI Private Equity. Shao Ming has more than 10 years of principal investing experience and he leads CVCI's investments in Southeast Asia. Before joining CVCI Private Equity, Shao Ming was a Director at Citadel Investment Group, specializing in private investments and special situations in Asia. Prior to Citadel, Shao Ming was with Temasek Holdings (Private) Limited, where he invested in financial institutions in Indonesia, Malaysia, China, Thailand, Taiwan and Japan.

Shao Ming graduated from the National University of Singapore with First Class Honors in B.Eng (Chemical) and M.Eng (Chemical Engineering).
