Pierre Lamond
Chairman of the Board

Mr. Lamond is a Partner at Sequoia Capital and focuses on components, software and systems investments.  Mr. Lamond is a Director of Barcelona Design, Santur, Tera Systems, Open Silicon and Mellanox.  He is also working with T-Networks.  Mr. Lamond has been the Chairman of Vitesse Semiconductor (VTSS), Redback Networks (RBAK), Plumtree Software (PLUM), Verisity Design (VRST), Cypress Semiconductor (CY), Microchip (MCHP), Combichem (acquired by Dupont) and a Director of VitalSigns Software (acquired by International Network Services, LU), Convex Computer (acquired by HP) and the MarchFirst (MRCH) (formerly USWeb/CKS).

Before joining Sequoia Capital in 1981, Mr. Lamond was a founder and technical director of National Semiconductor and the general manager of Fairchild's Integrated Circuit Division.  He has also been the president of Advent, a consumer electronics company and Coherent, a manufacturer of lasers.  Mr. Lamond is a past president of the Western Association of Venture Capitalists.


Ronald C. Foster
Director

Ronald C. Foster serves as Chief Financial Officer at FormFactor Inc.  Mr. Foster previously served as Chief Financial Officer of JDS Uniphase, a manufacturer of products for fiberoptic communications, from February 2003 to March 2005.  Prior to joining JDS Uniphase, Mr. Foster was the CFO of Novell Corporation.  Prior to Novell, Mr. Foster served as Vice President, Operations Controller for Applied Materials, and also spent more than ten years in various financial roles at Hewlett Packard Corporation.  Mr. Foster received an MBA degree from the University of Chicago and a BA in Economics from Whitman College.


James Wei
Director

James Wei is General Partner and founder of Worldview Technology Partners and was recently named one of Forbes Magazine's Top 100 Venture Capitalists.  James has led or co-led successful investments in companies that include Catena Networks, Ciena, Corvis, NeoMagic, Nvidia, Oplink, Silicon Spice, Tellium and many others.  He currently serves on the Board of Directors of 3PAR, Stretch and Tensilica in addition to LUXIM.

Before founding Worldview, James was a fund manager at JAFCO Ventures.  Prior to JAFCO, James held engineering positions at Sony and IBM.  James holds a B.S. degree in systems design engineering from the University of Waterloo in Ontario, Canada.


Chandrashekhar Joshi
Director and Co-Founder

Professor Joshi is a Distinguished Professor of Electrical Engineering at UCLA.  He is also Director of the Center for High Frequency Electronics and heads the Neptune Laboratory for Advanced Accelerator Research at UCLA.  He received his B.Sc. (1974) from London University and Ph.D. (1978) from Hull University, both in the U.K.  Following a two year stint as a research associate at the National Research Council of Canada, where he worked on laser-plasma interactions, he joined UCLA first as a researcher and since 1988 as a faculty member.  At UCLA, Professor Joshi has built a strong research group that has done pioneering work in the areas of laser-plasma instabilities, plasma-based light sources, laser-fusion and basic plasma experiments.  His group is best known, however, for developing the field of plasma based particle accelerators over the past two decades.  Professor Joshi is a Fellow of the APS, IEEE and Institute of Physics (U.K).  He is also the recipient of DPP’s Excellence in Plasma Physics Award (1996), the USPAS prize for Achievement in Accelerator Physics and Technology (1997) and the James Clerk Maxwell Prize for Plasma Physics (2006).


Lou Tomasetta
Director

Lou Tomasetta is a co-founder of Vitesse and has been President, Chief Executive Officer and a Director since Vitesse’s inception in February 1987.  From 1984 to 1987, he served as President of the integrated circuits division of Vitesse Electronics Corporation.  Prior to that, Dr. Tomasetta was a director of the Advanced Technology Implementation department at Rockwell International Corporation.  He has over 25 years of experience in the management and development of GaAs based businesses, products, and technology.  Dr. Tomasetta received his B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.  Dr. Tomasetta also serves as a director of a number of private companies.


Greg Miller
Director

Prior to joining Miradia as CEO, Greg was the VP and General Manager of the Commercial and Consumer Products Division at JDS Uniphase.  The largest segment of that business supplied components and subsystems to the projection display industry.

Prior to JDS Uniphase, Greg was the Director of Worldwide Sales Channels for the Electronics Division at Raychem.  Additionally, Greg was a nuclear engineering officer in the U.S. Navy.

Greg holds a BS in Engineering and an MBA.


Alain Harrus
Director

Alain has spent more than 25 years in the semiconductor industry as a technologist and an investor in high-growth early-stage companies.

He began his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories' advanced materials development group where he developed thermal and plasma processes for thin film dielectrics deposition for semiconductor device manufacturing.  From there, Alain joined Novellus Systems, leaving briefly to join Lam Research as director of deposition technology in the chemical vapor deposition business unit.  Throughout his tenure at Novellus, his roles ranged from director of technology for dielectrics to director of strategic marketing, where he championed the company's pursuit of a total copper metallization solution for advanced semiconductor manufacturing.  In February 1996, he became Vice President and Chief Technical Officer of Novellus, chartered with evaluating new technologies and opportunities designed to fuel Novellus' growth in target markets.  Before joining Crosslink, Alain spent seven years and remains a General Partner at Compass Technology Partners investing in technology-intensive, early stage companies.

Alain serves as a director on several boards including Atherotech, Applied Microstructures, NanoNexus, Photodigm and SoloPower.


Tony McGettigan
Director and CEO

Mr. McGettigan has over 15 years experience in consumer electronics holding leadership positions in manufacturing, product development, business development and business unit management.

Mr. McGettigan spent 7 years managing the projection display component business at Optical Coating Laboratory Inc. and JDS Uniphase.  In addition, he is a prominent figure in the projection display industry and is a recognized expert in both the technology and commercial aspects of the sector.  Prior to working in projection display, Tony held various management positions in the inkjet printing business at Hewlett-Packard where he drove the extension of their technology from desktop printing to digital photography.

Mr. McGettigan received his MSME and MBA from Massachusetts Institute of Technology where he graduated with full fellowship.  He received his BSME (Summa Cum Laude) from University College Dublin.
